DESIGN APPROACH
No natural light? By integrating multiple sources of artificial lighting and choosing bright surfaces that reflect this light, will create an optical illusion to compensate for the lack of windows.
I designed a German kitchen in a matt Alpine whit for this client, with an alpine white quartz for a fresh lift to this space, the change in textures from matt door to glossy worktop generates another depth to the design despite the same colour choice. Spotlights, under counter lighting and worktop lighting were installed as various ways to light the space depending on the time of day and the particular task.
